Oak, chocolate, spice. Full bodied, high tannins. Long finish.

Whites:
Scamandre  – Chardonnay, Marsanne, Roussane, Carigan Blanc (Rhone Valley)
Aromatic and ample wine with aromas of roasted fruit, apple, nuts, brioche.

La perdrix de l’année – Muscadet – Les Bêtes curieuses (Loire Valley)
Dry and fruity with nice minerality. Citrus and green apple.

Rift 71 – Mâcon-Villages – Jean Loron (Burgundy)
White flowers with slightly peppery buttery notes. Nice freshness, citrusy.
